The Glulam Beam Conservatory Company offers you an alternative way to extend your property.

Whether a garden room, home office or a standard conservatory, we offer the wonderful flexibility of glulam beams.

The glulam is a beautiful, structurally engineered timber beam which comes in various thicknesses and lengths.

The frames are hand made to your requirements and offer exceptional versatility.

We supply timber doors and frame sets, available in many styles and colours. All door security meets BS644.

The roof design [due to the glulam beam’s strength] can be traditionally covered in glass or Polycarbonate.

Alternatively a trussed timber roof can be installed and tiled to suit the existing property.

The picture shows the main roof coming partially over the structure with polycarbonate running below for additional light.

If your conservatory is looking tired and dull, we can utilise the existing base and dwarf walls, or you may want to add to your property in a simple economical way by installing a new Glulam beam room of your choice.

Wherever possible The Glulam beam Conservatory Company sources the timber used in the construction of our conservatories and garden rooms from responsibly managed forests.

Selected sections are used for a combination of strength, durability, machining flexibility and an ability to accept a wide range of finishes.

  • Paint finishes: The timber is treated with two coats of micro-porous paint or two coats of clear external yatch varnish a third coat is applied once the frames are erected, this provides a fully finished product.

  • choice of 5 natural wood finishes as standard. Choose from Mahogany, Teak, Walnut, Light Oak and Antique oak
